DRING LANGUAGE FELLOWSHIP – OAK PARK

Mission

We believe that communication between peoples of the world is not truly possible without a common language. Our program is intended to encourage young people to reach competency and fluency in any foreign language of their choice. The Fellowship will provide up to $2,500 for language training, foreign travel and related expenses. This program was begun in Oak Park, Illinois in 2007 and has assisted eleven young people trying to reach competency in a foreign language In 2010, a Dring Language Fellowship program was started in Steamboat Springs, Colorado serving students from all of the high schools in Routt County.
